Mark married Nancy DAVIS, b. c. 1795, (daughter of > Isacc DAVIS and Mary ????---could possibly be Foottit/Footit). This same Mark Monroe, the minister, also married Tempy Warwick on 9 Jan 1854 in Anderson Co. The marriage was also proven by the Will of Tempy's father, Wm. "Wylie" Warwick who gave land to the couple. To my knowledge there were no children from this marriage, but it is a PROVEN marriage. I find it very interesting that NONE of the Monroe Genealogies that I have seen list this! -- Terry L. Hutchison - "In order to understand ancestors one must first understand HISTORY!
