    3. Hello Dan and Other Wright Researchers, Just wanted to say hello and check with you on some Wright info. I have seen in some trees and info posted around the net that quotes you as the source that have Amy/Anna Catherine Wright that married David Ausmus as the daughter of someone else. She was the daughter of William Morgan Wright and Mary Ann (Polly) Lynch. Another daughter named Mary Ann Wright married William M Cain 1/1/1882 in Union Co.,TN and married Isaac Newton LeMarr after 1910 in Union Co.,TN. The daughter Etta Cain is listed as a LeMarr on the 1920 census. 1920 UNION CO.,TN CENSUS VOL 82, E D 195, SHEET 9, LINE 64 LEMARR ISSAC N 63 TN MARY A 53 TN WIFE ETTA 23 TN DAUGHTER Isaac Newton LeMarr had married an older Wright sister named Melinda Wright on 9/13/1877 in Union Co.,TN. I think William M Cain and Mary Ann Wright Cain named a son Isaac N Cain. If the people have erroneously quoted you as a source Dan, please accept my apologies. One daughter named Sarah E Wright married John W Norton on 2/18/1883 in Union Co.,TN, Another daughter named Easter married Mckindre/McKindred Ellison in Union Co.,TN on 2/4/1884. The last daughter Margaret E Wright married Caywood Bowman on 12/15/1888 in Union Co. I am looking for any descendants of Sarah E Wright Norton and Margaret E Wright Bowman and information on them. The two sons named John Ellis Wright married Mary E Ellison on 3/14/1872 in Claiborne Co.,TN and William M (Willie ) Wright married Louisa Marinda Patterson abt 1884. Anyone related to the William Morgan Wright and Mary Polly Lynch lines or anyone that may information please contact me. I am also seeking information and leads to see if William Morgan Wright SR was in the Civil War possibly in a NC unit. He may have left TN and joined in NC where he was born even though he lived in TN. A John W Norton may have been in the same NC unit. I am trying to find William Wright's parents and where they were from in NC and VA. William M Wright was born Jan 1828 in NC. Thank you for any leads, information, and replies. Best Regards, Lyle LeMasters Dan Rohrback wrote: > > hi: > Who ever sent this message, please respond directly to me. THANKS. > Yes, I have Jacob wright and anna graves. 3. Thanks for the reply Floyd. As far as I have been able to find out, the only Joshua Pierce I can find any record of prior to 1884 is the following entry in the 1870 Campbell County Census: Nbr. Name Age POB 41-38 Pearce, James 70 VA Precilla 46 NC John 9 TN Thomas 7 TN James 4 TN Joshua 2 TN 1870 - 2 = 1868. My Joshua was born about Sept. 1867. This could be him, but I have no way of knowing for sure. > I'm not sure, but it sound like you could be descended from my ancestor, > Austin Rucker and his son Austin L. Rucker. Austin L. 1. Where's Chip?
    2. OK I blew it this time. I seem to have given people the impression that I was leaving or something. A lady called me the other day and asked in a hushed tone "Are you dying?" No, I am not dying, leaving the project or anything like that. Shoot just the opposite, I have several new things planned. What I was saying is that I'm only going to be checking Morom01@aol.com once a week. This is because I get I guess 400 e-mails a week there from our other lists. Wading through all that doesn't leave me any time to talk about fun stuff with you all. So I unsubscribed Morom01 from tnunion and will be talking to all of you from thagamizer@aol.com. Trust me I will always be around. I own my own server so even if I get fed up with TnGenWeb (likely), Rootsweb (not likely) or USGenWeb (not likely) I have a place for our pages. If anything should happen to our mail list I have another. So I can see the site being around for many more moons. Unless you all get together and stage a coup. Or I get offered a job at the Moon Pie factory. Hey if they offer me a job, it's every man for himself, I'm sure you understand. Nope I'll be around, you can't get rid of me that easy. Two points of interest while I have your attention. Maynardville.Com just got the job of providing a web site for The Union News Leader (Our Union County Paper). Pretty soon you will be able to read news about the county, right on line. The second point is. There's going to be something neat on the page the week of Halloween! I'm not telling what but it's worth watching for. Thanks, Chip Union County USGenWeb Part of the TnGenWEB

    1. Shelby Families
    2. There is an article in our local paper today about a man researching the Shelby Families. It says: Looking for descendants of John Greene who married Susannah Shelby, daughter of Samual and Susannah Shelby of Sharp's Chapel, Jan 17, 1884. John's children were Malita, Susannah, Samuel, and John G. Greene. William Hopper married Malita Shelby, 1880. Census showed Susannah Shelby, 86 lived with the Hoppers. Need information on the John Greene & William Hopper families. I will exchange information. I'm not going to list this man's name and address but if any of you need it e-mail me and I'll give it to you. Chip Union County USGenWeb

    3. If you look at the label really close they are vanilla. I tried them and they aren't bad. Wish they were orange though. Had my mind set that they were gonna be and weren't. P.
