3. Hi All, I am hoping that someone has the 1860 Union co.census. I checked the heads of household census that are on the Union co. site and noted several HICKLE families living there. I am trying to find out which one had a daughter named Arninda A. born ca. 1865. . According to the Knox co. marriages online she married Isaac N. PACK. It has Arninda listed as 16 yrs. old at the time of the marriage which took place 12-25-1881. Appreciate this list and hopefully someone can give me a helping hand. Thanks, Patty Brock

    2. Hi Julie, You may want to contact the East Tennessee Historical Society (McClung Collection) for church records. Their web site address is, East Tennessee Historical Society When I was looking for Washington Presbyterian Church (Corryton) records I was told by a church member that the early church records had been lost in a fire. While I was at the ETHS I checked the church records microfilm anyway and found the records I was looking for. Good luck. Michelle

    3. Posted on: Union Co. Tn Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Tn/Union/771 Surname: Loy ------------------------- Emanuel Baker of Union Co., TN was son of Isaac and Lucinda (Loy) Baker. [Lucy was d/o Jacob Loy, s/o John ("Fisher") Loy] I didn't find any Rouse connected to Lucinda's family until her sister Sarah (Loy) Stooksbury's descendant married Arie Rouse in this generation. Perhaps Haze might be related through the Baker line or Amanda's family (I don't have her maiden name listed, though she married Emanuel ca. 1876) Hope this might narrow down your search some by knowing some of Emanuel's family. Is that who you meant? Nancy's sister Hannah (b. ca. 1843) married (another) William H. Longmire--he was born ca. 1840 TN.

Fisher Loy's daughter Nancy Loy (23 December 1823 Anderson Co., TN—24 October 1911) md. 28 April 1842 (Anderson Co., TN) William Longmire (1825 TN), son of Elijah Longmire. I don't have anything about an Elijah Mitchell marrying her. Maybe another Nancy Loy? (I didn't go through my records to find Elijah elsewhere, though I do know there were Mitchells who married into the Loy family through other surnames of Loy descent.)

Tn Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tn/Union/767 Surname: Robinson, Ausmus, Beeler, Turney ------------------------- I am finding that there are Robinson/Beeler marriages in Union Co, TN at a later date than my William Robinson who m. Anna Beeler in Grainger Co, TN in 1802. So, these two families seemed to intermarry for generations. I am trying to prove that William Osmus Robinson was descended from the William who m. Anna Beeler in 1802. Does anyone have any information? Anna Beeler was the d/o John Valentine Beeler and his wife Mary Turney. Also seeking information on them. John Valentine Beeler was s/o Ulrich Buehler. (Swiss) I think these Robinsons came either from York Co, PA (where Ausmus family was) or from old Frederick Co, VA (where the Beeler family was). Looking for any connection of this family to middle Georgia in the early 1800's. Thanks for any help you can give to me!
