He is buried in the Kelly cemetery. I am researching the Kelly side of my family and wonder if anyone knows of or is related to them... Lafayette had sons named Howard (my gf), Campbell, PAul, J Edward, and a daughter named irene who died at 2 or younger. LAfayette's siblings were Mary Kelly 1861, Carson Kelly 1863, John Kelly 1868, Alice Kelly 1870, Charles G Kelly 1871, Patrick O Kelly 1873, Isaac Jefferson Kelly 1875,& Gideon Finlondon Kelly 1878-1960. Campbell Sharp Kelly may have been the first one in union county, coming from virginia and maryland. Campbell's sibs were Louis Kelly, Harriett KElly, William Kelly, Calloway Kelly, Emmilen Kelly, Ann Eliza Kelly, and Charlotte Kelly. Sorry for all the info...just looking to see if there are any relatives out there!!! I live in Knox. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I'd like to know who her parents are. I have looked in the census, but if I saw her--she was using a different form of her name, so I didn't recognize her. Ruby Grace Evans was born in Ellis County, Texas on Mar 20, 1903 and died on Apr 18, 1985 in Knox County, where her residence was also said to be.  Ruby is also buried in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Union County.  A listing, showing a picture of their gravestone can be found on Findagrave.com.  Her parents were Elijah Malachi Evans born Sept 25, 1870 in Union County, Tennessee and died Jan 18, 1960 in Lubbock Texas.  He was the son of the above mentioned John Hobert Evans and wife Selena Butcher so Ruby and Hobert were cousins.  Ruby's mother was Maggie Lemmie Witcher born Jan 5, 1882 in Macon County, Tennessee and died on Oct 26, 1966 in Lubbock Texas.  I have no further info on Ruby's mother's family.     I have 4 children for Hobert and Ruby as they were listed in the 1930 census.  Helen R. Irick, born abt 1922,  Roy H. Irick born Jun 20, 1923 and died Oct 1983, Jimmie L. Irick born abt 1926 and Billie W. Irick (female) born abt 1928.  I hope at least some of this info will be of help to you. 3. I can help you with the following marriages.  Roy Hobert Irick.  He married Patricia Ann Dowling on Jan 19, 1948 in Knox County, Tennessee. Mary Lynn Irick married  Billy Charles Brown on Jan 6, 1956 in Loudon County, Tennessee I found a marriage for a Paul Ervin Irick, Jr. (perhaps the son of the Paul Irvin you listed) in Cocke County, Tennessee to Linda G. Debusk on Jun 29, 1993.  He is listed as being age 35 and she as 34. That is all the marriage records I could find for the children of this family on Ancestry.com and on the Knox County Public Library website. 3. I have Hobert John Irick and Ruby Grace Evans in my database.  Hobert was born in Tennessee on Mar 7, 1896 and died on Jun 5, 1968 in Knox County, Tennessee.  It also states on a website that lists Tennessee death's from 1950 - 2005 that is handled by the Memphis, Shelby County, Trustee's office, that Hobert's residences at the time of his death was also in Knox County, Tennessee.   Hobert is buried in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Union County, Tennessee.  I know that Hobert John Irick was the son of James William Irick born Jun 28, 1856 and died Mar 3, 1931 and Milley Clementine Evans born Apr 10, 1861 and died Oct 28, 1932.  They are both buried in the Butcher Cemetery in Union County, Tennessee.  I don't parents for James William Irick but Milley Clementine Evans was the daughter of John Hobert Evans born Feb 3, 1831 and died Apr 23, 1897 and Selena Butcher born Oct 28, 1837 and died Mar 3, 1877 and they are both buried in the Butcher Cemetery.    Selena Butcher was the daughter of my ggg grandfather Jesse Alec Butcher born Sept 14, 1808 and died Nov 3, 1891 and his wife Levina Moulder born Feb 7, 1813 and died Nov 8, 1891.  They died from an outbreak of Yellow Fever and are both buried in Butcher Cemetery.  Jesse Alec Butcher's parents were Samuel Butcher (no dates) and Mary Burns born abt 1877 in Virginia.  Levinia Moulder's parents were Valentine Felta Moulder, Sr. born Nov 25, 1776 in Orange County, North Carolina and died Jan 7,,1833 in Grainger County, Tennessee.  He drown in Clinch River and is buried at the High Water mark of the Clinch River.  His wife was Levina Penn Roberson born Apr 2, 1780 and died 1860 in Union County, Tennnessee. Helen R.
