Surnames: Thompson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jgB.2ACE/1057 Message Board Post: On the 1920 census in ED#249, Civil District #1 it shows a branch of my Thompson family living, with the name of Jeff Davis Hwy written in on the side of the census page. The only "Jeff Davis Hwy" I find on a present TN., map is located near Murfreesboro TN. Does anyone know of a road or Hwy in the Tipton Co. area that is, or used to be called this, and if it is no longer called this, can anyone tell me what this road or highway is now called, so I might determine closely to where this family was living in 1920?
