My grandparents lived on the Island for many years... their names were William and Mildred Craig.. I am named after her.. I was born in the old Hamilton house in Oct. 1934. The last time I tried to get on the island. it was under water. It was always a paradise to me as a small child... My aunt is Margaret Byford that now lives on the Arkansas side.
