Howard of Tipton County in Tennesse. Federal Census of 1860 Slave Schedule shows a George C. Howard on page 363. It shows he was 27 years old with 10 other unnamed persons listed by ages only under his name. I may be related and wish information or a better way to research this deeper. Are there any other resources in Tipton County that can help me find out more.

Maybe I can help. I do know that Gearge C Howard's father was Tom Howard. I am working (not real hard yet) on tracing futher back. Gearge C Howard was my great-great grand father.
