Any one have any ideal how many people are subscribed to this mailing list? I was just thinking how to make the Tipton Co. web site a better site with info we all need on it. Other then some one (s) going to Tipton Co. and abstracting all the info in that county and putting it on the site.... Not likely!! We all need info in Tipton Co. about our ancestors or else we would not be on this list. Is there any of you that have personal web pages with documents or abstracted info, from documents in Tipton Co. or even Lauderdale Co. So of the people that lived in Tipton either moved over to Lauderdale Co. or went there to do their business. If we could all pool info we personally have in our possesion, together, it might be a great deal of help to us. Then if there was any individual(s) in or near Tipton Co. that could also help us obtain info, from time to time, this would really help also. Any one have any suggestions or input on this? Cathy, first off where in Oregon are u? I also live in Oregon, Bend...Second I would love to have access to records in Covington, I have very few, my Grandma's Bible, a grammar school certificate from tabernacle, but I do have a cousin back there, have u visited the Tennessee usgen web site?
