Does anyone know if there are any accessible sources for the 1920-30 school records for POPE or GRANT Elementary School, Memphis, TN. Looking for information about my family members who went to school there. Also seeking employment records for the 1920-1926 Memphis Police Dept. Check the Memphis Board of Education. They had my grandmother's school records going back to abt. 1900 when she needed proof of age for social security. My mother went to Pope school during the late 1920's and 30's. I no longer live in Memphis, but if I can help you, please let me know.
