They are listed in the 1880 census as living in Tipton County. I am searching for my grandmother's family, she was born in 1888. Her name was Ida Francis Gross. She said her father was Thomas Gross and mother was Lydia Tims. She also had at least one brother Jim or James Gross. I met him once in 1956 and think he lived near Memphis. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.
