I too have a Samuel Gilbert Roe, Jr. in my family. He married a Jane Harrison and their daughter Ann E. Roe is my gr-gr-grandmother. I believe they were married on 6-26-1851. From the censuses, I have Samuel married Louisa J.; their children are Mary M., Ann E., Martha T., William Benjamin, and Fanny R. They were in Tipton Co., TN in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 censuses but not in 1850. William B. married Mary W. Boswell in Fayette Co., TN on 5 Nov 1884. They had 6 children (1 died before 1900).
