I am certain that ANY Talley in Tipton Co., between 1833 and the later part of the 1800s, was of the line I am researching. Some of them went on to Lauderdale Co., and Haywood Co., but ANY that you can trace to TIPTON Co., in the time period stated above, is related to the line I am interested in. It has taken me many years, but I have a very good line of the decendants of William Talley and Rebecca Briggs, who arrived in Tipton Co., by December 1833. Their descendants have been the only ones I have been able to find so far, in Tipton Co., but I know that there are at least two sons of the above couple that I have not been able to find marriages for. I was in the court house there last fall, and found marriage records for quite a few TALLEY/TALLY that I have not been able to place, so I know that the two sons, had to have had children. The children of William and Rebecca were: Elizabeth who married Manley FORD Martha who married Williamson ROSE John Peter who married Jedidah M. I'll be in Mason, TN for the most part, but will be filming in various places in the counties. If any of you happen to be available during that time, it would be great to speak with you. I am mainly looking for people whose ancestors are Baskerville's, Baskervill's, Clayborn's, Claiborne's, or Claybons from Tipton County, TN or who at least resided in Tipton Cty. at some point. Of course, I'll consider any Tipton County ancestor who's willing to share some of their research, ancestry, and/or photos on camera or via audio tape for credit and experience. Those listed above on pages 60--70--73 and probably 46 are descended from McKee, Hardeman Co TN< Rutherford Co TN<Mecklenburg Co NC. On page 38 listing above, I don't know which McKee line this is and I sure would like to know. The B. G. MCKEE born 1841 and died 1921 is a mystery to me and I don't know if he would be out of the Hardeman Co TN McKee family or would be from a related line out of Rutherford Co TN or what? Also, the surname HUDGINS is new to me. Some surnames related to McKee in Dyer Co TN, Tipton Co TN and Lauderdale Co TN are listed on the header for this message. I found another reference to your direct line as follows: "20. McKee, Dallas, Bessie Lou Smith, Ora Barton, Lois Barton, Carmel O'Bryan, Leona McKee Hensley, Charles McKee. Taped discussion at Carmel O'Bryan Home, Michael St, Covington, Tenn. 2 Aug 1967. Tape." My great grandmother was named Elizabeth Wade Davidson. Also the wife of my great grand uncle (Howard Alexander Timbs) was named Margaret J. P. Wade. I have a photo a photo of the latter. I have lots of Timbs/Timbs/Timms data and an archive of census images that contains Tipton County census data. The Wades and Timbs lived very close to each other.

I am a descendant of WADE and DAVIDSON. My GGGGrandfather was Thomas DAVIDSON b. 1809, had a child Elizabeth Wade DAVIDSON, b.1838. In 1853, she married James TIMBS, b.1837. They had 4 children I know of, one being my GGGrandmother Etta Viola Timbs Lloyd Laxton. I have lots more info and some pictures. Maybe our family is connected. They are all buried in Tipton County.
