He was born about 1870. He married Cora Bell aka Bell Cross. She was born in 1878. They were married in Tipton County around 1900 maybe a little later since their first child was born in 1906. I have been looking for them for 11 years. I know at one point they moved to Fayette County and that's where they died. He died in 1951 and she died in 1955. Anything at all would be helpful.

I had a friend back in the late 70's and early 80's named John Cox, who was a park ranger at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, just outside of Millington. In trying to find John (whom I lost touch with) I received information that at one time he was a Methodist Minister in Tipton county. An internet search found a hit on a "Rev. John Cox" who officiated the funeral service for a Mr. Hulber "Jack" Pence, who was a member of Elm Grove Methodist Church, which I believe is in Gilt Edge, Tennessee. That was in January 1993, and I can find no other references to Rev. John Cox. My information is that John has left Tipton County, and may no longer be a minister. I can find multiple hits on "John Cox", but I don't remember his middle name, so I am having trouble narrowing it down. So if anyone has any information on John Cox, no matter how slight, I would really appreciate a return message from you. I am running into a brick wall, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
