Any one have access to records in Tipton Co.? I need a will for a James Wiseman. I found this info: Index to Early Tennnessee Wills and Administration 1779-1861 by Sistler James Wiseman Will Book A, pg 218 Tipton Co. Tn. I have that James died Bet. May 20 - June 05, 1854. He was on the 1850 Tipton Co. Tn. census as 48 years old. Born NC. His wife Sarah (Smith?) was 45 also b. NC. Thanks to all.. Cathy
There was a George C. Howard who was born Nov. 24, 1824 and died Dec. 19, 1899, he is buried in the Munford Cemetery at Covington. He was married to Ella J. Howard born 25, 1834 and died Dec. 18, 1878 who is also buried in the Munford Cemetery. I hope this helps. Amanda Shoulders born Ca. 1860 married December 24, 1878 Jackson Co., Tn. James S. Cage son of William P. (Porter?) Cage and Eliza (Elizabeth Burbank?). The 1880 Macon Co. Census has: Cage, Wm. P. 54 carpenter (Ky.) Eliza 41 James S. 23 Amanda 20 and 5 other siblings of James In 1900 Amanda's mother states she has a deceased child which we believe to be Amanda. 1900 Tipton Co. Census Cage, James S. July 1857 42 John O. Son Aug. 1887 Thomas Son 1892 Jessy Son Dec. 1894 Any descendants of James S. Cage still in Tipton? Any help appreciated. Nancy Gann

I found a Mack 'Drummins' on the 1840 census for Tipton County, but did not find him in the 1820. There is a Mack Drummonds who married an Elizabeth Moore, Dec. 13, 1843. Hope this little bit helps.
