A descendant of William & Catherine (Richmond) Graves and a descendant of Jabob & Caty (Black) Graves matched each other on 24 out of 25 markers, proving a definite relationship. Another Graves tracing his ancestry back to Southern Illinois has matched also. It would appear that their earliest ancestor might be a brother or uncle of the Sumner Co. Graves.
