Hello Sumner list, The Sumner Co. Archives say that there is no easy way to locate divorces which can be in any of three courts and are often not indexed. What are the three courts and where are they located? I am looking for a divorce involving Meridy/Meredith MCCORMICK/MACK and Anny STEWART. This divorce probably occured sometime between 1838 and 1840. I haven't been active on the list recently, but I'm back searching for: Busby, Byrns/Burns/Byrn, Sadler, Mitchell, McCormick/mack, Henry, Martin, Jackson, Stewart, Cummings, Venable, and others.
