Listers, Does anyone know of James Edmund Holloway & Mary “Polly” Williams who married 1/5/1831 in Sumner County. She is dau of Henry Williams b.unknown (in umner County prior to 1805) & Alice (last name unsure). His father appears to be Edmund Holloway in Sumner County as early as 1812. I can find no relationship to other Holloway’s in the county. Census says he comes from Va or NC I am unsure where to search next. Can anyone tell me if they know of groups migrating into Sumner County about this time and from whence they came? Holloway family acts as bondsmen for the Sumner County “Ross” family. Polly’s brother Joseph H Williams b. circa 1813 also marries a Mary Holloway. Many thanks for your help, Nancy
