To all the very nice people that helped me with the Samuel P Morris/Elizabeth Caldwell Morris information. I can't thank you enough. But unless I can find out what happened to one of their grand sons Samuel, I must go back to square one. John C Morris married Mary Jane Bennett and they had two children, Samuel and William. According to the Philemon Morris Register, John C. died in 1858, still in his late teens leaving a wife and two children. I have a hunch that his son Samuel is my great great granddaddy, and maybe someone reading this might have more news about Sam and his brother William that will either deny this or help confirm it.
