Hello List! I am a descendant of the DINNING and DENNING families of Sumner County. The earliest ancestors I have found is David DINNING, Sr. and his son David DINNING, Jr. They came to America in 1762 and settled in Orange Co., NC. David Jr. came to Sumner Co., Tennessee, in the fall of 1799. I have obtained a great amount of information on my early line from my cousin, Mike Denning of Gallatin.
