Funeral service will be Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 12 Noon, from the Gallatin Church of Christ, with Bro. Jason Duncan and Bro. James Harris officiating. Dr. David Stewart will do the eulogy. Mr. Stovall will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m., at Newby Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland. Active Pallbrarers are Brad Keith, Greg Keith, Robert Jones, Chad Jones, Thomas Arnett, Jeffory Graves, Joel Kittrell, Robert Payne. He was born in Sumner County, TN on June 2, 1936, son of the late Wallace Patterson (Pat) Stovall. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Cynthia Moore Stovall of Gallatin; mother, Clara Lawler Stovall of Portland; children, Martha Jones and husband Ray of Cross Plains, Alice Keith and husband Lynn of Cross Plains, Bob Stovall of Goodlettsville; step-children, Karen Belote and husband Mike, Kenneth Tatum and wife Christy, Marion Graves and husband Jeffery and Mike Tatum, all of Gallatin; nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
