My Grandkids are in Spokane for the summer, so I will just go down to the end of our street that overlooks the Cumberland River and it's floodplain and watch the fireworks display at the Fairgrounds. We get a wonderful view from up here on the ridge, and neighbors have a chance to visit with each other between the Ooohhhs and Awwww's !
