Regrading the 1810 census, there is an excellent book, "The Reconstructed 1810 Census of Tennessee" by Charles A. Sherrill that is a substitute for that census. Mr. Sherrill used tax lists, court minutes, church records, wills, deeds, and other sources from 1809 to 1811 to create the list. In all, there are 61 different sources cited.
