I have been at a deadend on Franklins for years. Please help me and I will share anything back on family. GGGgrandmother of mine is Jane Franklin 1783-1848) married to John Wood (1777-1836) Her parents were James Franklin Sr. married to Mary Jne Lauderdale. Jane's brothers were John, James Jr, Isaac, William and Albert. I have information on James Franklin Sr. and newspaper article on four Franklin plantations. Fairview Franknlin still open to public. I am sure we match. Jane Franklin married a John Day Wood in 1802 in TN and I am stopped there for the Wood family down. I have Lauderdale line 20-30 generations down the line.
