Can someone tell me more about the Sumner Co malitia. ie Do muster rolls exist and other lists for commissions for sligtly later dates etc. I see a Capt John Young on the list as receiving a commission in 1793. My Samuel Young spent some time in Sumner Co. He had a daughter born there in 1798 and a son in 1802. When he came to IL in 1812 he was known as Captain Samuel Young and we can find no record of his commission. Can someone find a possible commission or tell me where I might look for some record of one??? Thanks J. Ray Young
