I'm researching the Kizer family in Sumner Co, TN, descendants of Philip Kizer. Philip had a son named John but he died in 1860. Haven't found Philip Sr's siblings names, if any. Thomas Green Kizer married Pelina Elizabeth Kirkpatrick in 1861. Thomas was the grandson of Philip Sr. Sallie Kizer, grgranddaughter of Philip Sr married Taylor Kirkpatrick in 1885. So, trying to find out if these two Kirkpatrick's were from Sumner Co and were killed by Indians there or in Nashville area.
