Tn Queries Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Tn/Sumner/11971 Surname: Lauderdale, Bledsoe ------------------------- I'm trying to find any information on the marriage and family of David Lauderdale and Clarissa Bledsoe. I believe they started their married life in Sumner County TN and then moved, not sure if directly, to Tipton County TN. One of their son's, Thomas S. Lauderdale, was my g-g-grandfather. The internet information I've seen on their marriage shows they married some time around 1812 but Thomas was not born until 1827 (or 1828, I've seen both). I believe that there were two other sons, James and John. One of them had two middle initials - D.H. - but I can't remember which one right now. The 1860 Tipton County TN census I have shows Thomas and the other Lauderdale with the middle initials D.H. both age 32. David died in 1833 and Clarissa in 1840, both in Tipton County as far as I can tell. I have posted similar queries on other boards so I hope I'm not over posting. Any help will be appreciated. I know that I should be making formal request for documents but I'm posting to see what information I can get so that I will head in the right direction with the documents. Thanks, Leslie
