I am researching Green B. Howard of Sumner County, TN. He was born about 1794 in MS or TN and lived in Sumner County for some 55 years. I've found him on tax lists and census records. He had the following children, James W. Howard, William R. Howard, Betsy Howard, Charlotte Howard, Green Howard, Melvina Howard, Wiles/Wilkes Howard and Lycurgus Howard. It is reported that Green B. Howard married Pernilla/Permilia, a full-blood Chickasaw. Green B. Howard served in the War of 1812, but I was not able to obtain any records. Does anyone have information on any of these Howards in Sumner County, TN?
