Those of you living in Middle Tennessee may be interested in attending the Avery Trace Rendezvous featuring re-enactors of the 1700s and 1800s to be held at the Obed River Park on US 70 North in Crossville on Saturday, October 27th. Both military and civilian life will be featured in a living history setting. The event is free and will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM. The Avery Trace was the first road cut (in 1788) between the Cumberland settlements and Southwest Point in Kingston, TN.
