The BRAIANCE family of Sumner county has a connection with the CORBITT family. Dempsey Corbitt had a daughter, Nannie, who I believe married into the Brigance family. Nannie was b. about 1770. Nannie had a brother, Wiley , in whose will he left a portrait to Nannie Brigance. Big family by that name in MS. I would like to contact any member of the Brigance family about Nannie and her husband. Dempsey's wife, Frances, and the son Wiley are buried in the Brigance cem. in Sumner county. Also, thanks so much to Nancy for doing a census look up for me on Dempsey and Frances and their brood. Anne
