Her greatgrandfather on her mother's side was a baptist preacher. The Brown's(George and Bertie) who Ithink were big time Methodists, attending Mckendree Methodist in Portland. Their daughter Dot Brown Dorr was a Strawberry Queen in 1948. She and her sister Ann are still alive but not living in Portland. There isn't a listing for Neely or Harriet Parham Brown in the Maple Hill Cemetery. I looked. I think the cemetery started out as the Portland Cemetery. Type in sumner county tn genealogy on google. There is some very good information there. Harriet's father was George Parham. There is a good article on him. Her parents are buried in the Cotton cemetery. They lived in the community of Cottontown Tn. near Portland. If I see my husband's brother during the holidays I will ask him about NPBSr. I hope this helps.
