I am trying to find a location that is referenced in the Will of William Gwinn, recorded in February of 1827. He gave numerous holdings to his children and their spouses. Mostly I am trying to figure out where he lived and where his Saw Mill was located, and the only "real" location stated is: "one tract of land lying on the Ridge on the road that leads from Cairo to Brackins by Johnson's Gap". He also speaks about land joining Joining "John Mcwiells farm". I have looked at the maps on the Sumner GENWEB site, but without much luck. I am thinking, after looking at the 1830 census, that the Brackins might related to property owned by the family Bracken's. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bob
