Do you have any other info on Elizabeth Black? Date of birth, where born, etc...... Some settled in McMinnville,Warren County, Tn some in Giles County,Tenn, some came to Madison County,Ky from VA. The Black Family has a very interesting history. The first was Rev. Samuel Black, the first Presbytery minister in America, came to America in 1734 from Ireland, but he was born in Scotland, and he settled in Penn and Albermarle County, VA. Blacksburg, VA is named after a Black Family member who gave all the land to create Virginia Tech.
