This obituary appeared in the Nashville Tennessean on Monday, 26 June 2006 Richard E. "Dick" FRASURE Sumner Age 81 June 24, 2007 FRASURE, Richard E. Dick Age 81 of Hendersonville, passed away June 24, 2007. Mr. Frasure served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his discharge in the Philippines, he served in the U.N. Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Shanghai, China. He was a member of the VFW Post and American Legion. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 359. He was both an avid golfer and pilot. Mr. Frasure is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rose E. Frasure and his son, Jesse Edward Jeff Frasure. A Memorial service will be conducted Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 7 p.m., from the Chapel of the Hendersonville Funeral Home. The Frasure family will receive friends from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
