Born August 24, 1927 and passed away June 23, 2007 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alwida Dellinger Humburg. Survived by wife, Ora Lea Humburg; son, Anthony M. (BJ) Humburg (Debbie), Russell, KY; step-grandson, Oliver C. Humburg, Russell, KY; step-granddaughter, Debra Kay (DeDe) Wooten (Jim); 3 step-great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Bobbi L. Woody and husband Barney L., Sevierville, TN; sister, Sue James (John), Indiana; and a brother, James (Jim) Humburg, Indiana. Mr. Humburg served in the US Air Force for 20 years; received a Good Conduct Medal; W3 BR Loc five Bronze Loops; Small arms expert marksmanship ribbon; and Air Force Longevity Service Award. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from the chapel of Newby Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Anderson officiating.
