Marion Rosni Elliott who married Margaret Franklin. He was born in 1835 in Lawrence Co. AL and was the son of a Samuel Elliott and Francis Rather/Ratcher. Rev. Elliott was supposted to have been the minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Practiced law in Lebanon with Gen. Robert Hatton. Was Attorney-General for the 10th Judicial District. M. R. Elliott died April 2, 1889 and wife Margaret Franklin Elliott died Jan 1907. Both are buried in Gallatin Cemetery. Children were: Dr. William Franklin Elliott - married Willie M. Bell Samuel R. Elliott - beleived to have died in Nashville Feb 16, 1916 and buried in Gallatin Cemetery. Benjamin D. Elliott - last known to have been in Oklahoma City in 1924 when his brother Sr. William F. Elliott Died. Jennie Mai Elliott - known to have been married to a J. W. Knight (druggist) and had 2 sons; Elliott Knight and Roy woodson Knight. Jennie later re-married to a Rev. David Kelley. Last seen in the 1910 census living in Hamilton Co. OH with the Knight family. May Elliott Kelley is buried in Gallatin Cemetery and died Aug 23, 1922. Location of death is unknown. Son Elliott Knight and his wife are also both buried in Gallatin Cemetery. Elliott died May 14, 1957 and Helen on Dec 5, 1963. Location of death is unkown. Last known residence for them was in Birmingham AL. Roy Woodson Knight was last known to also be in Birmingham AL. Was married and had a son Roy W. Jr.. Looking for anyone who might be able to provide any additional information about the Elliott Family. Thanks ..... Jim
