    3. I am sure that there are many list members are subscribers to Ancestry and have access to Heritage Quest through their local library. I suspect that many other listers take the time to look for information to answer a query posted on the list. However, I encourage researchers to support these organizations by subscribing to Ancestors and encourage their local libraries to subscribe to Heritage Quest. I am preparing for a visit to Sumner County and am using Ancestry, Heritage Quest, Family Search, U. S. Genweb and the Sumner County List as I prepare for the trip. I have received more family information through the list, which has served as the guide for locating other family members. I have located census information at Heritage Quest and/or Ancestry.com. Heritage Quest has digitally enhanced the online census, but do not have indexes to all the census (they may be searched using the browse feature). Ancestry.com has indexed the census, many every named, however the Heritage Quest census may be more readable. Many of us are also locating data on the various Rootsweb sites and exchanging information on Roots-L, which I believe are now funded by Ancestry. Often one evening of web research provides more data than I could have located in years prior the computer age. I am grateful to my relatives who share their research with me and to all the businesses and individuals, like you, who contribute so much to assist my genealogical quest.
