Mr. Barry was a retired farmer and a devoted, longtime Member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lorene Harper Barry. He is survived by nephews, Robert Ernest (Myrna) Barry, Kenneth (Mona) Barry, Wayne (Sue) Barry and Donald (Martha Sue) Barry; nieces, Helen Widick, Wanda (Bert) Smith and Sandra (Larry) Jones; sister-in-law, Corinne Harper Groves; several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. David Harper and Bro. Berlan Harper officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery. His Nephews, along with Larry Lane and Steve Callis will serve as Pallbearers.
