He married, no date or place, Ethel Ann Cunningham, 18 Jun 1887, Warren Co., TN - 16 Nov 1972, Nashville, TN, burial Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville, TN, d/o Greenberry Alexander and Jennie L. Lane Cunningham, both buried in Riverside Cemetery, McMinnville, TN according to obituaries. William Alfred (paper incorrectly typed Albert), the 9 year old son of Mr. W.C. and Mrs. Ethel Cummings, died last Sunday night at their home in Nashville. The remains were brought here on the noon train Tuesday and interment took place in the family lot in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Cummings was formerly Miss Ethel Cunningham, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Green Cunningham, and lived in McMinnville during her girlhood days. McMinnville newspaper.
