(This letter was originally send 2/24/05 to [email protected] the mail was undeliverable) Hope this finds its way to her or the Shannon/Gibb Families I was reading these letters (very interesting) on this website and noticed the name of Gabriel Dillard. Gabriel was my GGGGrandfather, he and Harriet Frazor Dillard (his wife) lived on Center Point Road from the early 1800's on other family members took over & lived there until approx 1974. I was wondering, it's a long shot.............but, would there be any pictures of any of the Dillard Family that lived on Center Point Rd in your old family stuff? I know it's a long shot, but I had to ask. Another bit of information I'd like to pass along to you (I guess you are related to the Shannon's) is that there is a little cemetary just about 1 mile down Center Point Road -on the Left- where a small subdivision is getting ready to be built. The property is up for sale and I noticed some head stones in a cluster of trees close to the road (I was on Center Point last week trying to get some Dillard Info).....my son & I got out to look at the head stones and they were of the SHANNON /GIBB FAMILIES. I'm not sure if the subdivision people were planning to fence it off or what, but thought you should know........some of the headstones are illegible and broken, but others you can feel the spelling of the names.
