Surnames: Tate, Frey Classification: Queries Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HiB.2ACI/941.978.983 Message Board Post: Chris, Nora Tate Briley was the daughter of Annetta N. (Frey) Tate, born December 12, 1856 in Robertson County, died August 14, 1897, buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.Nora's father was Robert H. (Dock) Tate, born May 25, 1856 in Robertson County, died June 28, 1874, buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Nora's siblings that I know of were; (1)Louella Tate (my great-grandmother), born August 16, 1876 in Robertson County, died September 14, 1956, buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. She married 1st Robert Lee Strickland (my Great-Grandfather), whom she is buried next to, 2nd a Swann, 3rd a Birdwell; (2) Mary Josephine Tate, born Feruary 18, 1878 in Robertson County (no other info); (3) Belinda Elizabeth Tate, born October 2, 1879, married Ned Boyles; (4) Dorothy Annette Tate, born March 5, 1882, married Henry Summers; (5) Robert Johnson Tate, born October 1, 1884 (no other info); (6)James Tilford Tate, born February 24, 1887, died 1944, buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, married L! ula Summers; (7) Ola Tate, born August 6, 1889, married Robert Richard Starks December 10, 1916 in Robertson County; (8) Henry Adam Tate, born January 30, 1894; I believe Nora married 1st Ruben Goosetree, 2nd John Briley, but these could have been reversed. Most of this information is in My Great-grandmother's Bible, which my aunt has. I do have much more information on Nora's ancestors, and will be glad to share. Hope this helps. Jimmie
