    2. Hello List, I am forwardeding this to the List, because it was sent to me by C. Marlin. He took the time to look up the info. inorder to help the King researcher. I am not a King researcher. A lady by the name of Stella sent me a private query asking if the King family was buried in the Strother/Mitchell cemetery. I lost her email addy and replied on the list that *no* Kings are buried in the Strother/Mitchell cemetery I hope Stella sees this data. I am researching the following familes from Cottontown and Gallatin. Busby, Cartwright, Jackson, McCormack/mick, Mitchell, Sadler, and allied families. Harry Boude King, Thomas Hunt King, Jr., Frankie Yourie King, Thomas H. King, Jane Griffith King, Charles Burton King, Mary T. King, Marion King Whiteside. There is a Mary Francis King buried in Old Beech Cemetery. b. Oct. 2.1853 d. July 29 1926 Other Kings buried here are: Mary Elizabeth and infant daughter of T. D. and Lucie King, William Andrew King b. Jan. 4, 1875 d. Feb. 25, 1948, Martha Elizabeth King, Callie King Patton, Susan Catherine King. Several William Kings are mentioned ? W.B. King Key Cemetery 5 miles n. of Gallatin William Hamilton King Gallatin Cemetery Sec. A, Row 2 William Harcourt King Gallatin Cemetery Sec. A, Row 2 Litltle Susie and Little Charlie are buried here too. Neither lived to be 3. Born five yrs. apart. Wife Marion Harcourt King is here too. William M. King King Cemetery five-tenths mile E. of Gallatin d. Feb. 1814 This cemetery seems to have the oldest dates. Wm. King Old Beech Cemetery Jan. 17 1777, - Sept. 9, 1847 Wm. King Senter's Chapel (Black section) b. May 15, 1862 d. June 4, 1923 All cemeteries I listed except for Senter's Chapel are in or around Cottontown. Cottontown is a large unincorporated area between Gallatin, White House, Portland, and Hendersonville, TN. We have a post office and a volunteer fire department and lots of history.
