Hello Bob, Your message was gatewayed to the Sumner Co. TN list. Augustine Byrn McCormick/McCormack was the brother of my g-g grandfather. Byrn was Augustine's middle name. I believe that Meredith/Meridy was a brother also. I have found no record to document Meridy's relationship beyond a shadow of a doubt. On the other hand, I think that is the most logical conclusion. They were the sons of Andrew McC. II and Rachael Venable McC. I have much info. about this family. I am glad to find another descendant of the TN branch of the McCormicks/macks of the White House farm in WV.
