While reading microfilm this evening I found an aritcle about a man who had died of jaundice in Aberdeen, Miss. at "Commercial House" but had a wife and child in Sumner county. He had stated his name was Avery or Avert but upon finding papers in his saddlebags their were jewelry and invoices with the name S. Jelonek of Jenkins & Co., Cincinnati & of Goldsmith, Barkhouse & Co., St. Louis. He was approx. 5' 3" and weighed 175 pounds with light eyes and light brown hair and around 40 years old. He was an Englishman by birth and a Silversmith by trade. I'm not sure if they ever found out for certain who the man was but I thought if someone was looking for one of their relatives, this may be him. Let me know if this sounds like someone you're looking for and I'll email you the entire article.
