His second-great-grandmother is Malinda Graves (10/10/1821-3/7/1867) who married David Mandrell (1816-1874) on 10/19/1837 in Sumner County. I have info on David's parents but am stumbling on Malinda's parents. In the 1830 Census for Sumner County there is a William Graves listed with males 2100001 and females 112201. This listing would support the possibility that William Graves is the father of Malinda Graves, but it's pretty weak evidence. Can anyone help me out any further?
