Hello, Several people have written me on my query about descendants of Ellis PARKER (1865-1936) who was married to Emily WHITSON and did he later marry a KIRKHAM? to say that they have Ellis PARKER married to Emily KIRKHAM and nothing about a WHITSON. I'm not sure where I got my information, it's been so long ago, but I've received some other conflicting info I'd like to clear up if possible - here's what I have-can you please tell me where I'm "off"? I have Ellis PARKER (1865-1936) married to Emily WHITSON. I have Ellis as the son of James G. PARKER (1802-bef. 1900) and Rhoda A. WHITSON (1832-bef. 1900). I have Rhoda as the daughter of George B. WHITSON and Margaret TIPTON. George and Margaret were also the parents of William WHITSON (1836-bef. 1900) who married Sarah ? I have William and Sarah's children listed as: Millie, Willie, Emily, John W.,Ewel,Charles and Emma. Their child Emily is the one I have married to Ellis PARKER which makes them first cousins. I have Ellis and Emily's children as: Clarence, Zeler, Lizzie,Samuel T., Shirley, Cornie Ann, Hattie, Mable, and Homer Samuel.
