    1. [TNSUMNER] Daniel Kizer, son of Philip Kizer Sr
    2. Thanks to Joyce and Carol, I believe Daniel Kizer, son of Philip Kizer has been found in Gallatin Co, IL. Daniel Kizer born about 1810 was listed on the land deed where the kids sell Philip Sr's land to George Frazier who had married their sister Mary Polly Kizer in 1829. George Frazor was the bondsman for Daniel Kizer and Jane Blair's wedding. Seems like lots of Sumner Co folks ended up in Gallatin Co, IL. On the 1840 Gallatin Census is Dread Dugger with Wiley, Harrison, Doctor and Allen.  They are directly next to Daniel Hiser who should be Daniel Kizer.  Daniel is 20-30 years old.  John Edwards is living on the other side of Daniel. John Edwards was married to Anna Blair, sister of Jane Blair that married Daniel Kizer.  (Another sister, Frances Blair married Daniel's brother John Kizer).  And then I have Charles Edwards married to Sarah Dugger who is the sister of Flood Dugger who I understand is Dread's children. Land records first show Daniel Kieser (Kiser) buying land there in 7/1830. In Oct 1850 Daniel Kizer died of consumption in Gallatin Co, IL. On the 1850 Gallatin Co Il census is the children of Daniel.  With the youngest Kieser (this was the spelling used this time) girl being 3, I figure Jane Blair Kiser died about then.  The oldest girl of Daniel, Malissa, was 20 and born in TN.  Jane and Daniel married in 1829.  The kids are living with the Williams family on this census. Daniel named one of his son's Phillip after his father.  I had an email last year from a descendant of one of these children listed on the 1850 census but his (William D. Kiser) email isn't working now. He was sure that this Daniel was the one we were looking for but couldn't prove it and I didn't have enough pieces to help put it together until the Dugger puzzle pieces showed up.  I think the pieces are all there to prove that the Gallatin Co, IL Daniel Kiser is Philip Kizer, Sr's son. In addition there is this: Palestine Cemetery, Gallatin Co, IL: From one who lived nearby, I received information on 2 more Omaha Twp. cemeteries. One was the Kiser family cemetery on the road West out of Omaha. It was on ridge on South side of NW¼ of NE¼ of Sec. 28 on the present Bradford farm. He remembered the Kiser name on most of the 5 or 6 markers. The other on the poor farm (closed in 1930s) was about ¾ mi. West on same road. There were 20 or 25 burials there, he remembered William Blair of Sh-town, Rachel Kendrick of Eagle Creek and 2 of her sisters. No trace of either. 1840 Gallatin Co, IL 64 8 Williams Joseph 22110010000000 111010010000000000000000000000000000 12 0100000 64 9 Dugger Dread 00010000100000 110000100000000000000000000000000000 5 01 64 10 Williams Simpson 00001000000000 001000000000000000000000000000000002 01 64 11 Dugger Wiley 00000100000001 1101000000000000000000000000000000005 01 64 12 Dugger Harrison 20001000000000 0001000000000000000000000000000000004 01 64 13 Dugger Doctor 20001000000000 0001000000000000000000000000000000004 01 64 14 Dugger Allen 00100100000000 0000100000000000000000000000000000003 01 64 15 Hizer Daniel (30-40) 1100010000000 11000100000000000000000000000000000006 01 64 16 Edwards John 11111010000000 1000010000000000000000000000000000008 01 64 17 Dondward Lorenzo 2210010000000 10000100000000000000000000000000000008 01 1850 KIEZER DANIEL GALLATIN CO.
