Hello list, I am looking for the Father of WILLIS CENTER born 1786 in North Carolina. Died before 1810. Willis may have been married to Elizabeth Childress.His children were as follows: Sterling, Lucy, Levi G, Ann, Guilford, Male, Mary, Moses A., Elizabeth, and Martha. Willis lived in Ky. he may have been in other states also. His last name may have been spelled Center, Sinter, Senter, Cinter,(names on tax list and other list) On Oct 22,1840 in Allen Co., Ky. he married Rebecca Spann. they had a son named Nathan S.Senter. 5-10-1858 there was a settlement of Willis' estate. He got a 100 acre land grant on 2-21-1817. He is on a tax list in 1819,1820, 1822, and 1823. He is in Allen co. Daybook also. He was an overseer for a road leading from Scottsville, Ky to Carthage, Tennessee.
