Joyce -- I think it is more than coincidental that the McMurtry's and the Dorrises both came from Northern Ireland, that both settled in Somerset County, New Jersey, that both fought in the Revolutionary War, that the families intermarried, that both moved to Orange County, North Carolina, and both families moved to Sumner County. Throw in a couple of more families like the Gomers, and it's almost like a clan that lived and stayed together through everything.
