Maybe the more I post, the more people might see what I'm trying to find and may be able to gather new information? Anyway, I'm looking for some of my direct descendants: Thomas Newton Bell and Milton Bell. Milton's my 3rd great-grandfather, and Thomas Newton was his brother. They ran from home at the ages of 14 and 16, were captured by Indians, and then set free by two other "friendly" Indians. They eventually settled here in Missouri by way of running with a 'West-bound' group, in Washington County. Milton was born approximately 1805, and Thomas Newton approximately 1807, in Tennessee. I'm looking for their parents, and any other ancestors/descendants. Supposedly, they may have originated in either Sumner or Robertson Counties in TN? Could anyone out there help me with this information? It's like the Bell's just dropped off the face of the earth before these two...they had to come from somewhere! Thank you for any and all research! -Amy Bell Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
