I wonder if there is a connection between the Sumner County Freeland familes and the Davidson County Freeland familes??? I know there is a Freeland's station historical marker in front of where Werthern bag used to be in North Nashville.I know a George Freeland was one of the first settlers in the Nashville area. Don't want you to think I am way off topic, my paternal grandmother was Mattie Jane Freeland(1888-1958) married to Samuel H. Parker(1890-1968).
